After a routine annual mammogram in November of 2019 at age 44, the radiologist discovered a small mass in my right breast that wasn't there the previous year. Thankfully, he suggested we do a biopsy. Turns out it was HER2+ Stage 2B Breast Cancer with a 100% KI-67 expression (extremely fast growing). I spent the remainder of 2019 and all of 2020 in hiding out from Covid while managing my day job, my family, chemo, surgeries and radiation treatments. Throughout this journey, I have learned so many things about myself, my life and my special purpose.
